review 1: This book was better than the Daring Book for Girls: Wisdom and Wonder. The stuff in here was pretty good and fun to read. You can read about how to make a fire, knots, zip lining (and how to make your own!) canoeing, skateboarding, tips (VERY USEFUL) on running faster, over ten different games of tag, leaf identification, animal tracking, pranks- WAHAHAHAHAHHAH, etc.I would read this book again and I want to buy this book. Very good read.
review 2: I checked out the large book from the library and gave it to my grandaughter to see how she liked it. She did! But it's a huge book and it's filled with alot of history. I decided to invest in this pocket version, which is the majority of hands on activities from the book. It's quite nice. Two disappointments w... moreere that it does not include the Sun Saluation poses or the Karate poses that my grandaughter enjoyed trying. Maybe I can find those online and include them as inserts.Overall, it's a winner! less
