review 1: Interesting book, full of single-sided bashing. But this is what I thought it would be. Trying to make a point that US media are conspirators against Tea Party. I will consider it a waste of time to even try to debate or give counter arguments here. It is written for certain kind of audience. I sometimes like to read such books because I like to know how people think. Of all, the most interesting part I found was how Bill Clinton dealt with the Monica Lewinsky issue. Though Briebart emphasizes that the media helped Clinton, but I think it is his own charm and persona that wouldn't let the US people's love affair with Clinton, end. How he did it is well explained in this book. Biebart proves that Bill himself used some dirty tricks, but blames the media. Oh well, the theme ... moreof the book was media bashing so no matter what the evidence showed, he needed to conclude, it was the doing of the media. The language used in the book is to attract certain kind of audiences.
review 2: Its interesting that Breitbart ends the book by implying the momentum the Tea Party had on its side (at the time) would last a while. Not so much. And calling Ann Coulter "a warrior of the highest order?" Again, not so much. I agree with Breitbart's premises about the media's leftist bias and the danger of groupthink but I disagree with his arguments which are themselves seemingly biased and specious in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen less glib explanations as to how the media got its bias and why if the bias is so obvious and "real red state americans" don't agree with it, why does it still exist? Generally speaking I question the research of this self-professed ADHD-and-proud-of-it, reformed college partier--too many inconsistencies to even go into. And a whole chapter on his victorious expose of ACORN but no real mention of the Shirley Sherrod incident other than "There's more to the story. Stay tuned?" Hmm...I thought he already admitted he took her statements out of context in Newsweek. The silence kind of confirms that he, in fact did and makes me think he knows a thing or two about "spin" just as much as his hated adversary, the leftist media. less

I liked it- but it turns out I like to listen to talk radio, not read it.
