review 1: First Andrew Peterson book that I have read. I thought the plot was decent and had good pacing; definitely keeps you interested. There are not too many spy/assassin/covert op books that deal with domestic terrorists. However, I thought something was missing from the main character. He did not seem as charismatic as other main characters in this genre (John Rain, Mitch Rapp, Ryan Kealy, Daniel Silva, etc) and so I am not sure I want to continue with the other books.
review 2: A Middle of the road thriller. The book has enough action but it has these weird breaks in it. At one point there is a long discussion between two of the main characters regarding their personal life but it doesn’t really add to the story and quite frankly it didn’t seem to fit in gen
... moreeral. The author seems to know a lot about snipers as there is a lot of talk about the preparation and adjustments needed which really gets you close to the main character. Not sure if it’s interesting enough to keep going with the series for me. less

Enjoyable military suspense thriller. The sniper scenes were especially entertaining.

I loved this book. If your a fan of Reacher or Swagger, you'll like Nate McBride.
