review 1: It's amazing how Andy Mulligan thought of such story. He expressed the life of people living in the dumpsite well Yes, there are a lot here in the Philippines whereas he based his story. This really is one of the unique stories I've ever read. Dumpsite people struggles, the dirt and crimes government officials do. This book makes you want to continue up to the last page. What a wise man was Jose Angelico, as well as the three boys. What I didn't want much is that they just threw the millions of dollars up in the air, in the storm. What if non-deserving people get them? The book is really good, tho. Good job, Mulligan
review 2: If you have to read one book this Summer you should read "Trash". Three dumpsite boys who go through mountains of rubble, one day find s
... moreomething that is unusual. And when the police come and offer a reward to whoever finds the item, Raphael, Gordo, and Rat decide they want to get to the bottom of it. So a bunch of broke, uneducated orphans put there lives on the line to hide it from the police, and try to solve the mystery. Andy Mulligan's compelling writing style about the extreme poverty had me constantly thinking, "What if this was me..." . And the constant change of narration made the book easier to understand what was going on. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend. By: Brayden S. less
