review 1: This series came highly recommended so I decided to give it a whirl. I knew from the start that the book wasn't for me, but I tried to push through anyway. I didn't like the writing style. There were too many words, too much rambling and a lot of telling instead of showing. There was also a secret that was constantly alluded to (GAG!) and relationships that came across as forced. The story didn't flow and the writing didn't appeal to me. I hated that the book was written from the h's narrative and she was always telling the reader what another character was thinking or feeling. It was written so unnaturally.
review 2: Where to start? I liked the story, it was your typical love triangle, but with alot of secrets and lies surrounding the characters, secret societ... moreys (that secret I still dont know what they get upto lol), it even included a mob boss.....eek! So lets just say this book had its fair share of drama!!Norah annoyed the hell out of me, she was so big headed, through the first half of this book, but then the secrets started coming out and I could kinda understand why she was how she was.Aaahh Clint, I was up and down wih him throughout this book, he was very hot and cold, couldnt he just decide?!? He was smooth though (when he was hot of course haha), I will give him that. Once he turned on the sweetness he became very captivating! Damn you males for making us love and hate at the same time.....confusing!!I loved Josh, yeah he made his mistake but he was the most sincere, following his heart, not really getting anywhere, my heart bled for him :-( Overall I enjoyed this book and will continue with the series, how could I not after the cliffhanger......what the hell was Clint upto now? Did he never learn? Im glad Ive got the next book already on my ipad, Im going to dive straight into it :-) less
