review 1: I enjoyed this book, but it was so frustrating at the same time. The Lappell's actions and power trips drove me mad. My teeth were literally chattering with anger during a few scenes. Josh irritated me, as well, with how possessive he became of Norah. His ways changed from being the guy who was there for her to a control freak. I wasn't a fan of the new form of Josh. The extra at the end of the book helped explain the reasoning for this more, so I accepted his actions better. There were so many times that I wasn't understanding why people were helping others. The end then brought it together and was great! I was happy with how almost everyone ended up. There are a ton of miniature cliff hangers at the end of chapters that made me unable to put the book down! Overall, this ... moretrilogy was great and always kept me guessing "What's next?".Spoiler:I haven't read a book with one of the main characters being killed, yet. It was sad and affected me more than I would've expected, considering I hadn't been team Josh. Him leaving a part of himself behind through James made it easier to cope with, though.
review 2: What a way to finish off this trilogy, Im actually sad that it ended, but happy that we got some sort of understanding of Norahs choices. Norah grew up a hell of alot throughout these books and was making the right choices for her to be happy.....There was some tense moments whilst reading, floods of questions swirling round my head, things happening that brought a tear to my eyes, and definately some cheesy grinning going on when I finished ;-)So its goodbye to Norah, Josh, Clint, Samuel and Tess, I enjoyed reading about them throughout these books. Seeing how different choices determine how you live your life, how lies and secrets ALWAYS come out in the end!I loved that the author told us at the end of the book why she wrote what she did about a certain character, Ive got to be honest I was ready to throw my ipad when a certain thing happened, but it needed to be that way as the author explained.I will definately be looking out for more books by Angela Richardson after reading this trilogy :-) less
