review 1: Miss Julia, a lady of a certain age, is one of my favorite fictional characters. Honestly, i can relate to some of the messes she finds herself in and I was delighted to find that her Author, Ann B Ross, had decided to give Kindle format a try. I've previously read six or seven of the books in the Miss Julia series and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. If you are looking for some light reading and enjoy the same character base I highly recommend you give these books a try!!!
review 2: Miss Julia didn't know when she was well off. But she was going by her first marriage and what it was like. She had married a second time to the most considerate loving man around. But she keeps waiting for the other shoe to fall, because her first husband was an inconsiderate as... mores. She keeps thinking her second husband will be the same way. He isn't. She doesn't know if she is thankful enough for the gifts that he is always bringing her. She tries to think of a gift she can give him. The best gift to give is to show how much the other person is valued in your life. Good story for being so short. less
