review 1: Very gripping and sad story about a young woman that ended up in a closet dead, in the house of a man she was married to but they would get a divorce. She would leave the very next day to visit and stay with her mother for a while. Suspects (at least in the eyes of her mother and Ann Rule) : her about to be ex husband and/or one of his sons from an earlier marriage. Some believe it was suicide, including members of the police department. What is the truth? Even after reading and choosing one or the other, there still will be a flinch of doubt about the other option.
review 2: Ann does an excellent job providing background and inside information on the real-life murder/suicide/unclassified death Rhonda Reynolds. She reviews evidence, and sometimes lack thereof,
... moreRhonda's mother and friends, and others close to case. An excellent book on a strange death that was classified and re-classified many times as a homicide, suicide, and undecided. Anyone interested in real-life crime should read this. less

The cops messed up and that really makes me wonder were the hell is their common sense.
