review 1: I'm surprised that there weren't many reviews for this book on amazon because I really enjoyed this book, even as an adult. It's along the lines of Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game but with its own twists to the story. Hayley has an almost spotless academic and social reputation in hopes of getting a top scholarship. Unfortunately this makes her a pretty easy target but who would want to ruin this unassuming girls chance to go to college, or even her life? As it turns out there are a few more candidates than she would have like to believed. I would pick up more by this author!
review 2: I'm not entirely sure what I expected from this book, yet it still fell flat. The not-so-shocking ending annoyed me, as did the fact that not one person seemed to realize
... more that Jamie wasn't Hayley and vice versa. I actually kind of regret reading it because it didn't thrill me or make me feel attached to the characters. And character attachment is very important to me when reading books. There are also some things in the book that left me confused. Also, after reading a few other reviews, I have to agree that the phrase "I'm fine" was used way too much. So, as much as I originally wanted to read this book, I wish I had just left it alone. less

A fairly solid horror novel. Imperfect, and not necessarily scary, but quick and enjoyable.

The book was kinda poorly writing. And the main character was quite annoying.
