review 1: Llama Llama Time to Share by Anna Dewdney. This book is about Llama Llama that is used to playing home alone while his mom watches him because he is an only Llama. But one day the neighbor comes over with her daughter and Llama has to meets his neighbors. He soon starts to play with the neighbor girl that is about his age. The moms tell them to go play and the two kids go play , they don't mind playing while the moms talk. For a while the little llama shares all his toys. But once the little girl tries to play with his favorite stuffed llama he gets angry and mad at her and takes the toy away. At the end llama learns to share and he lets the girl play with the toy llama and they became friends. He now looks forward to the neighbors coming over. This story is a cute and fun... more way for kids to read about and learn to share in a way that they can relate. They can remember getting angry as well but that it is not bad to share.
review 2: I enjoined this book very much. There is a lesson to be learned from the story. The reader will learn that sharing is the right thing to do and with sharing comes the idea of compromise. The illustrations were very colorful and full of emotion, especially when the stuffed animals arm was ripped off in a struggle between Llama and Nelly. The story and illustrations did a fantastic job in telling the story. less

As always cute and a good way to teach a lesson. Opens the way for stories about Nelly Gnu.
