review 1: This was a good story idea. It was such a shame that the book was very poorly written. I felt that the Anna Jarzab just told the reader things when she felt like the information was suddenly needed, where it could have been slowly revealed, where at first the reader didn't know why the information was there but later on you would be thinking 'Oh, that's why the author mentioned that!'. I also think it was a mistake to split the book into 3 different points of view. I understand that it was an important way of telling the reader information, but there are better ways to do so. The twists and shocks about the revelations of the characters' pasts were revealed too suddenly but in a way that the emotions that should have come with it weren't very good. Anna Jarzab didn't devel... moreop Juliana's character very well, nor did she develop the relationships between characters well either. It felt like she was just throwing in characteristics to suit her sudden need to add a piece of information. I was very disappointed with this book, but because of the story itself I would read the next one because I want to find out what happens next. I hope the next book is an improvement.
review 2: I loved this book from the beginning to end. This book intrigued me to learn more about the theory of a parallel universe. It amazed me of how Anna Jarzab came up with the story behind parallel universes or as she says the "multiverse". I wasn't very interested in science in general before, but now I'm dying to read the next book. Putting a story behind a theory is amazing! I wish teachers could teach like that... if they did everyone would be brilliant or even out smart the teacher. less
