review 1: I bought this book a while ago and it was the bright orange pages that caught my attention-yes if you colour the pages you can probably guarantee I'll buy the book. It was a surprisingly realistic book that has an interesting plot and style. I especially liked how the author used typography to show how the character was slowly becoming deprived of sleep and exhausted. I found it unusual and although it's not my normal genre I read, I found it engaging and gripping.
review 2: This book is utter perfection. As a huge fan of all things middle-east related, this book was exactly my cup of tea. Khaled, the main character, was so relatable and brilliantly developed. By the end of the book I reckon I had a bit of a crush on him (I'm 13). The only downside to this book
... more was Niamh. She really annoyed me in the end. I guess I just wanted her and Khaled to be together. Absolute gold. One of my top 10 for sure. less

Generally liked it, but a little drawn out in places.
