review 1: Ollie is a sweet, sweet zebra who…loves to sing. Rhyming text and wonderful humorous illustrations show Ollie "singing in the park" and with his dog, Fred, "who loves to bark." He even loves to "sing in the lemon tree" and in his "bath with a cup of tea." My story time especially loved the illustration of Ollie and Fred singing away in the tub while balancing tea cups! An awesome read-aloud audience pleaser.
review 2: This is my first book of this series, so I'll have to look at some of the others, too! The illustrator's background in stationery and greeting cards is evident (not necessarily in a bad way) in this slender celebration of music. The watercolors are light and cheery (I love especially the lemon tree page).
