review 1: This is not your average love story.Daniel met Wednesday when her Master, Vincent, invited him for a threesome. Vincent used to be Daniel's professor in the Uni. Not long after, Vincent ended their relationship. Daniel swoops in and they settle in a relationship where they struggle on how to make it work with Daniel's controlling nature and Wednesday's desire to find herself.Daniel is indeed a loving Dom, but he is not perfect--not even close. He is possessive, almost obsessive! Wednesday, on the other hand, is rather emotionally damaged--sometimes even unstable; the result of her father treating her as if she was nothing but dirt. Wednesday and Daniel's relationship is what I could only call 'volatile'. I couldn't decide who was the messed up one in their relationship! Wh... moreat a fantastic read! I LOVED it! Well written, easy to read, easy to follow. Their relationship was complicated and explosive and realistic.I do not recommend this for those who want nothing more than "GlitterKink" reads. This isn't dark... but almost.
review 2: Holy.......... amazing! Like, blow my mind away at the ending amazingI had to walk away from this book about half way through because I don't handle suspense well, and while it was not scary suspenseful, I couldn't take not getting to know what was going on quick enough. I needed to take the journey and not sprint to the end. I knew I was thoroughly enjoying the ride, so I set it aside until I was in a better frame of mind to enjoy the ride - and it didn't disappoint meThe first half is setting up our characters and getting them into place. Vincent and Wednesday have Daniel over for Wednesday's birthday. Sparks fly and things don't quite as Wednesday had planned. It seems Vincent knows all and what is best for her and brings Daniel into the mixDaniel thinks everything is going as he planned but Vincent doesn't let him be and Wednesday doesn't always react as he hoped, thought or wished. They are muddling through things though but something is always just there..... beyondThe catalyst occurs to move things forward, then another, and another, and another. The actions, reactions and repercussions are breathtaking and entrancing. The ending is completely unexpected but so beautiful I just sat starting at the screen on my ereader in aweNot for the faint of heart or the squeamish or dreamers, but if you want some edge, and deep emotions that cut to the core, you know you will appreciate and need to read Wednesday's story less
