review 1: Well hell! This was something new! Sometimes I found myself dying of laughter over how badly they treated each other.Our poor h starts the revenge taking first, but Jeez, did she really not know that giving our GREEK hero perpetual blue-balls wasn't the brightest idea ever?!Then our H, boy was he mad! There were times I think he could have murdered her. The one thing I didn't like was the abrupt ending. With about three pages left and the big revelation just being made, I was anxious and kept looking at my page number. I was worried I'd somehow not received a complete copy of the book. Even the author narrated that they still had so much left unresolved between them. That's the problem with the word-count of these HP's, and the vintage ones are on average about 5000k less ... morethan the new ones, to weave a story like this takes a few more pages. I felt there were some points in the storytelling that were too abrupt, sudden jumps from one scene to the next that were a bit disconcerting. But, seeing as this was my first Anne Hampson novel, maybe I'm missing that this was her normal writing style.Also, 'pillow friend?' Really. I'm with you on this one Julz04.
review 2: Oh my word........what a RIDE!!!!!!!! If you have missed this Anne Hampson special, you need to read it NOW..But be forewarned there are moments when you will get so frustrated you will want to throw something! This is a story about REVENGE...with a capital R....Both mete out their pound of flesh...and at 2AM, I was biting my nails.Phew. Thank you to my friend, Julz04, for the recommend! less
