review 1: Appena ho avuto sentore che la Anne avesse pubblicato qualcosa di nuovo ho dovuto leggerlo. Ebbene, riesce a creare più lei in 50 pagine che molti altri in 500. Le atmosfere sono quelle dei migliori romanzi della serie "Ice", solo che qui il protagonista è un killer vero e proprio. Il suo incontro con Maddy avviene grazie ad un amico che gli estorce un favore. I due non si vedono e la voce di lui è distorta elettronicamente, ma è chiaro fin da subito che la tensione sensuale è alle stelle. Non voglio rovinarvi il piacere di leggere questo piccolo gioiellino raccontandovi troppo, vi basti sapere che le scene hot sono tra le migliori che ho letto di questa autrice. Speriamo ci regali presto qualche altro romanzo!
review 2: This was like a prequel to a bigger... more story. Both, Maddy and Con, were interesting and compelling that I wanted more time with them. Maddy, the reporter, meets Con, the assassin, while she's writing a story on hired killers. Sparks ignite the minute they meet, and even though they know getting closer is a bad idea they can't help themselves. There was so much I wanted to know about them, but at 50 pages not much can be disclosed. Still, it was enjoyable but over too soon. less
