review 1: This book was awesome. The series was awesome who Am I kidding? I can't wait until the next installment comes out. This had the perfect amount of action and comedy and romance. It has a nice steamy love scene if you get my drift, haha. It was different than other zombie books but in an awesome way. The characters were awesome. I loved Rudy and Mac, they were hot, sweet, and strong. The main character is Kansas or Man as she likes to be called. She was a strong informant girl/woman. I lived that she wasn't vain out selfish or winey. She wasn't one of those girls that always needed to be saved, she did saving allot of the time. Her attitude was great too. Some of the sayings in this book had me laughing so hard I fell off the bed and chair and then there was some scenes that... more had me crying, mainly one particular scene, and I cried like a baby for like 10 minutes, which was the time it took me to finish that particular chapter lol. This author definitely know what their doing. The way they described the situations in this book made me feel like I could actually see what was going on, it's like watching a movie in my head while I was reading and I love books that do that. I was taken away to a whole other world and it felt like I was actually there with the characters and of course the zombies. This is a MUST READ!! I guarantee you won't be disappointed
review 2: Terrible. It's rare that I don't finish a book, and I give zombie novels a lot of leeway, you have to. But this is seriously awful. The dialogue is so wooden that you could whittle a spoon from it, and the characters have no personality at all. 'Look at me, I'm a grim survivalist with an internal monologue that would bore a rock, now I'm in love for whatever reason'. I guess if you're into badly written teen romances between crudely manufactured storefront mannequins or something, then this is the book for you. less
