review 1: I have mixed feelings about this book. But the feeling that sticks out the most to me is annoyance. Tavia, my fucking god there is something wrong with this chick. She has the power to save the entire human race and spending the rest of her life with her true love, but she is too stubborn and prideful because she wants to be with Benson, who she "loves". Honey, you've known this guy for a couple of months and you love him? That bit her right in the ass since he was one of the bad guys any ways. Like, she's known Quinn (Logan) for hundreds of years and she still picks Benson. Like what the fuck is wrong with her? Tavia is by far the most selfish protagonist that I've ever read.Okay to lighten the mood, I'll tell you the two things that I liked about the book (the only reaso... moren why this shitty book gets two stars): I loved the Benson and Tavia moment when the were in the hotel, I thought that was really sweet. And the other thing I liked was the ending, meaning the last three pages or so when she met Logan for the first time, I thought that was cute.I doubt I'll read the second book, I probably only will if I find it at the Dollar Store, like I did with this book. Buying this book at the Dollar Store should have told me something.....
review 2: After reading 10 pages of Earth Bound by Aprilynne Pike, I chose not to read it for my second book report. I chose not read it for my book report because even though it gave a lot of detail about Tavia, it didn't really seem very interesting. Another reason I chose not read this book was because the Tavia seemed very whinny and like you couldn't connect to the book very easily. Lastly, I thought that the book could have waited a little bit to tell us exactly what happened to her, maybe have waited until after she got done at her therapists office. Because of these reasons, I rated the book 3 stars. However, this could change if I were to read the book in its entirety. less
