Mistress of the Art of Death
review 1: Book 4 in the "Mistress in the Art of Death" series. I like spending time with Adelia Aguilar and her friends, learning about medieval practices and watching her play crime scene investigator. In this story Henry II "requests" that she deliver his 10-year-old daughter to her fiancé in Sicily, and murder happens along the way. The story isn't terribly original, but it ends on a cliffhanger and I will read the next one to find out what happens to Rowley!

... moree so sad to see where it ended. The character development was great and the tension was palpable. A fantastic series overall and I truly enjoyed reading it! less

loved it but it left you on a cliff hanger that will never be solved as the author has passed on.

Suspenseful and exciting. I was so disappointed to discover there isn't another book coming.

This is a very good historical mystery. A lot of historical facts about the medieval period.
