review 1: This was a decent book with a look at the economic conditions that effect social class, and the anchors that prevent the majority from rising to a better condition. I wish the data was more thorough. Although this would probable take the book into another 200 pages to resolve the numbers and figures questions. The book is worth reading, and points you in a direction. I read this for a research paper and I found it had the fire I needed but not the stats and figures to defend Mrs. Huffington's points.
review 2: I expected a liberal leaning opinionated book when I started reading this, but had heard so many good reviews that I thought I would give it a shot. It turned out to be one of the most comprehensive explantions of why America is in this fix that I hav... moree found. Huffington names those most responsible regardless of political affiliation or party. In the first half of the book she covers what has gone wrong, but the rest is a hopeful vision of how we can fix it. Very well written. This one is going on my favorites shelf. less
