review 1: COntains mild spoilers Oh first of all this book was just too fast . Relationships and the way they happen are not that fast . I mean seriously ??? Colin cheats on Alexa . I like the fact that Alexa doesn't go back to him . But she meets a man after three weeks and within a week she is in love with him ?? She just got cheated on . There should have been some part of her that is afraid to get hurt again right ?? But no . Missy here just falls head over heels in love with him . Though she was the one cheated on , their relationship did go on for 2 years . She got over Collin in three weeks time ?? And then there is Collin . I think the guy who cheats and loves his girl soooo much should at least try a little harder to get her back . I get the part of giving her space . But... more the moment you see her going out and having fun , you too decide to do the same ?? He was supposed to experience heart break , guilt over what he did . But NO . Here he his getting his happily ever after .
review 2: I actually found this book a little depressing. Not to give anything away but the synopsis makes it sound like Collin focuses on college and football after losing Alexa but is still working to get her back. It was actually quite different and the ending wasn't what I expected at all. There wasn't a whole lot of the "before" part of the story (focusing on Alexa and Collin when they were together) and that would have made it a lot better. As it was I didn't really "feel" Collin and Alexa's relationship so wasn't particularly rooting for them to get back together. less
