review 1: This book wasn't very good. I tried, but couldn't really like either main character. I thought I liked Isabelle until she lost her mind and completely blew off trying to find her son to have a tryst with George. Then the next how many pages were bedroom scenes. I don't think all the sex did that much for the story.George was broke, didn't want a child with his mistress and dumped her. All the makings of a deadbeat dad but the story made it out to be okay. Neither main character had much background. The secondary characters were not very well developed, either. I didn't see the necessity of the 'f' word used several times at the end. I wonder if the author could not think of a more intelligent word to use.
review 2: This is one of the most disjointed stories I h
... moreave read in a long time. The story was almost an aside. I think about 3/4 of the story was about the comings and goings the H/H. The transition between the story elements was confusing. One minute I was in a house in London and all was well. The next page I was in the country and I don't know how it happened. Maybe it was just me? You can check it out see what you think! less

Just not my thing. I didn't care for the main male in the first chapter so flounced. No big.

This was a switch. A man that goes from riches to rags. Very good concept.

Bugged me that the missing son was not too distracting for her
