review 1: This one of hers I didn't like (although I quite enjoyed A Most Scandalous Proposal). There's a kid. He's kidnapped in the first quarter of the book.THEY DON'T FIND THE KID FOR MOST OF THE BOOK, AND STOP TO HAVE SEX SEVERAL TIMES.Oh, God. I'd be killing myself, not trying to get laid. I just couldn't get past it. And I wasn't really sure what was going on at the ending where they weren't angry at the companion THAT KIDNAPPED HIM. But maybe I was so disconcerted at that point I completely missed it.
review 2: I enjoyed this book. George is a great character. He grew a lot from THE MOST SCANDALOUS PROPOSAL. I like how Benedict, Julia and Sophia made an appearance, too. Isabelle is a caring and loving single mom. Single moms who never married are not welcome... more in 1800s in England. Men have mistresses but don't want illegitimate kids. I love how Ashlynn brought these two worlds colliding together. Poor George was in so much grieve and I am glad he got some stones to do what he wanted to do. Jack was such a heartbreaker to all who met him. Isabelle, Jack and George fit together like a puzzle. I am glad that George set his mom straight. I hope George's piano playing flourishes in her next book. I give this book 3 finger up and 7 toes. less
