review 1: I read it around the time of my B'day. Highly overwhelmed that Indian origins are writing such awesome fiction based on Indian scripture. Ages ago Acharya Chanakya/Kautilya decided to take vengeance for his father's brutal decapitation. this is one story, Two stories go parallel in this book. Other one is present fictional make up about Gangasagar who walks on the footsteps of Chanakya chanting a Holy Mantra discovered from Patna(on a mine trip). Both the stories run parallel and Ashwin has tried to show how well Gangasagar matches his ideal's path. It's full of thrill, compelling narration style and proverbial. Worth keeping a copy. very nice work Mr. Ashwin Sanghi.
review 2: Ashwin Sanghi's best book. Two stories set in different ages which runs parallely. Th
... moree book starts well and keeps you hooked. Good thing about the book, it doesn't have a disappointing end unlike Ashwin Sanghi's other books. Well researched on Chanakya's life and writing is quite mature. Only downplay of this book is that most characters are shown to be downright dumb which I didn't like. If you can overlook this, the book is a fantastic read. Give it a try. less
