review 1: This story is about an Afghanistan woman who is taking care of her husband who has been shot in the back of the neck. He is not at all responsive and while she is praying for him and taking care of him she begins to tell him things about her life that she has never shared before. This book is a real eye opener about how poorly the Afghani women are treated by their husbands and families. I listened to the book on CD's and feel you would get more from this book by listening to it than reading it.
