review 1: This novella was part of a box set (since I've already read a few of the books as stand-alones, I will rate each of the books separately also). This was a continuation of the first book, Blind Wolf, so this is like the second in a serial novel, rather than a true novella. The blind wolf is intriguing, but I felt a lot was left out, or given over-simplified dialog without any real character conflict. A good read but it is a continuation of Blind Wolf-- not a huge fan of the serial novel.
review 2: A Perfect Mate is #2 in the series. SInce I didn't read book #1, AND i didn't realize this was book 2 until the first 2-3 pages, I thought I might be lost. But I caught up quickly. Damien and his pack are a group of misfits. He finds a human woman, Julia, for a mate,
... moreor so he thinks, until another pack goes out of it's way to kidnap his mate.THe book pretty much goes on to unravel the truth about his mate and pretty quickly goes into who his mate is and WHY she's important. I liked the small amount of mystery and the aspect that Damien is blind. This book also has HEA, so I liked that aspect along with the mystery, suspense, and romance. Overall, i'm looking to see how this series ends :). less
