review 1: I really liked this book. I really really liked it until about page 200 when I found it became a little far fetched. In fact, after logging onto good reads and reading other peoples reviews I was totally shocked that other people weren't enjoying this book as much as I was. I found the book well written, easy to read and the characters easy to follow. I loved the underlying message, which is love is more powerful then anyones religious beliefs...
review 2: I have to say that I am deeply disturbed by the amount of negative reviews of this book. Please tell me how it's "not realistic." Are you referring to the true love that people can feel despite other's hatred or the pure racism that exists in the world? Or that unexplainable things happen? I feel bad for each... more of you who have not experienced something so deep. "Poorly written," you say? The research that was required to even complete a book inclusive of so much knowledge should excuse any paragraph structuring that you learned in eleventh grade English that you are comparing this author's style to. I do not give books a 5 star rating but this one deserves it. less
