review 1: I did not love this book. It had such great potential being about witches, food, and a mystery. However it was clearly too much to handle. I finished the book because I am very determined and hate to leave a book unfinished. However, it was so boring, I cannot even tell you who committed the crime or what the crime was. I actually zoned out that much. I really would not recommend this book. Even the magic element in the book was not fun and fanciful to me, just too real.
review 2: I love this book. It kept be interest through the whole book. Katie is a very real character. The books makes me want to be a witch, move to a small town, open a bakery and have two hot man interested in me but not have the whole murder thing. Katie reaction to the finding out she is ... morewitch is so good and real. Aunt Lucy's "book club" is one I want to be apart of. Uncle Ben love for his wife makes me want to find that type of love. I honestly hope she gets with Declan than Steve. I love the two recipes at the back I wrote them down and I going to try them. I can't wait to hear the second one. less
