review 1: This was heard as an audio book on car trips. It is wonderful for this, as the female protaganist is on a visit to a town she knew briefly as a child. I really enjoyed the reader, the characters, the setting and the conflicts. There is a calm edge-of-your-seat feeling when listening to the story. The unfolding and revealing of the people in her life comes slowly and steadily. Really good pacing for a book of this length.
