review 1: I enjoyed this book very much. It's just a little too sweet and happy-ever-after for a full five stars. That remark probably doesn't make much sense. Lets just say the main character falls into some really good luck after a very tragic incident and they all live happily ever-ever-after. That said, I truly enjoyed most all of the characters and hope there might be future book set in Cavendon Hall.
review 2: so many reviews say this is the authors best work and holy moly if that's the case I won't be reading anything else by her! I did finish the boom out of sheer will to succeed. The book felt like the authors first attempt at cliffhangers and suspense. The characters seem to say the same 5 or 6 lines over and over but in different years and that got rather
... moredull. it was like "oh here we go again...." with no real surprises. The plot was weak and the characters weaker. it was a great time filler while driving around when the radio was boring but nothing special. less
