review 1: Typically I don't just grab books off of the shelf at the library, I like to be selective. But I picked this one off of the shelf as a back up book to read. It was okay, just not my favorite. I never really cared for the characters and their lives just seemed too perfect. And whenever something bad happened it always worked out so easily and quickly. The conversations between characters were not natural at all. It just didn't move me like it could have!
review 2: I was listening to this on cd in my car in the way to work. I got halfway through the CDs and had to give up. Over 5 discs in and nothing had happened! There was no sign of anything even remotely exciting happening. I got so nauseous from the dialogue between the sisters. It just wasn't realistic in an... morey way. Sisters just would not speak to each other in this controlled and distant manner. I just kept waiting for something to happen or for the characters to become real. Didn't happen. I gave up. I would not recommend. less
