review 1: Seven Souls ist ein SEHR spannendes Buch, dass ich wirklich empfehle. Miller und Orlando sind tolle Autoren. Sie schrieben das ganzes Buch ueber ein einziger Tag. Ein, einziger, verrueckter Tag. Aber...was ich nicht verstehe, ist warum Mary und ihre Mutter einander lieben, wenn ihre Beziehung so beschreibt ist, als sei die einander hassen soll.Ausserdem, ich werde immer in der Meinung sein, dass Mary ihr Schicksal ueberhaupt nicht verdient hat. Auf keinen Fall. Trotz diese Kleinigkeiten, fand ich dieses Buch klasse. Ein Must Read!
review 2: I was rather disappointed in this book. I ended up giving it 2.5 stars, and it was lacking for me in several aspects. Firstly, all of the characters in this book are really under developed, and terrible characters. No one i... mores likeable in this book, and no one was written in such a way as to develop or be dynamic. The only one with changes really is the 'protagonist' and I put that in quotes because the entire book bashes her character. Now, in regards to the plot. The plot was laid out to be full of intrigue, and that was definitely accomplished in the first part. There was a mystery, it was creepy and engaging and I was interested to know what was going on. But then the drama was overplayed, and the mystery was poorly explained. And by the time I read to the ending, I was tired of the book. The ending itself was really rushed, and it didn't make sense. I wouldn't recommend this book- it disappointed me, and I am glad that I read this as part of the 24 Hour Readathon and read through it quickly. I gave this 2.5 stars, so it was a book I still read through, but I didn't enjoy the majority of it and it's not one I plan on reading again or suggesting. Violet less
