review 1: This book was a frickin' riot. It make me laugh out loud and heart pound a page with the mystery and thrill. Ella had her heart tramped on by a cheating almost husband and has sworn off love ever sense. Preston is her BFF's little bro that has panted after her secretly for a decade. He's sure grown up now, a sweetheart, and not bad to look at (hello, fireman!).Building on years of friendship, baggage, and hilarious romps their romance take off shakily. The book flips between their view points. Ella learns to let go and even starts surfing again. Preston is faced with chasing after her broken heart and learning to slowly woo the hot headed Ella. A flash from the past soon haunts Preston and Ella's happiness. Toward the end of the novel, I was left wondering if anyone was ac... moretually going to make it for the happy, hilarious ever after.Awesome characters and a hot, steamy, laugh out loud romance made this book an excellent read. The added in mystery and thrill just made the book all that much better. I appreciated the author's honesty with her characters and how groan out loud their mistakes were. I really cheered for the characters and was extremely pleased with the format of the story.Pick it up and read it. Do it!I was kindly provided a copy of this book from this author in return for an honest review. This did not affect my review in any way.
review 2: I loved this read. The characters had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I loved the humor and wit. These point of views had me truly inside the mind of these characters. I can't quit smiling. The story and plot really had me turning pages. Ben was a little predictable but I had no idea how he would end it. That was very well written and had me nail biting. I really loved Ella and her relationship with the bubbly. Hilarious. I also loved Jo. The beginning of this book was perfect. There friendship and loyalty is amazing and reminds me of my best friend and I. And oh Preston! The calendar scene was perfect. Great book! If you haven't read this book you are missing out! less
