review 1: Revamp was my first go at vampires. After the Twilight craze the thought of vampires made me nauseous. I guess it didn’t help that I am also not a love story kind of girl. A friend recommended Revamp and I was in a book slump, so I said why not. I can happily say Revamp didn’t torture me with a vomit inducing unrealistic love triangle. I was actually pleasantly surprised… and scared! As soon as I started reading, I couldn’t stop. Even under my covers trembling with fright because the sounds in the night convinced this underground culture was out there, waiting to get me. I devoured this book. I loved the characters and truly hope that Emma, Cooper and the rest of the gang make an encore performance. I thoroughly enjoy Beck Sherman’s writing and am looking for... moreward to what this author has to come.
review 2: I received a copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This book reminded me of Dean Koontz and Stephen King meets Twilight; Gory, gruesome, scary, chilling you to the bone. This was a truly unique vampire story unlike any other I’ve read before. Beck Sherman painted an excellent picture of a vampire resistance. The characters had character, and although the story was longer than you’d expect, you’re glued to the book until completion and longing for more. A truly interesting take on a vampire story, I loved ever moment of this story. less

Inconsistent and bizarrely misogynistic.
