review 1: This was just OK. Good ideas, interesting story. The female characters were nicely developed, but Nick, the main character, is a little bit of a jerk. Since you know it's about time travel already, it's not a spoiler to say that I can't tell which century he wanted to be in. At times it was like he had two personalities. I'm not fond of going backwards and re-reading to try and figure out what the hell a character is talking about.
review 2: I'm a huge fan of time travel. Mixed with a some historical romance and it became a fun and light book to read during my summer vacation. I only hope Bee Ridgway is planning a second part to this book otherwise it's not a very good ending. What happened to Jem? Who is Mr. Mibbs? Ridgway leaves some questions unansw... moreered that leaves me to believe there is a part two. If not, I'll have to change my rating to a three. Still not bad. less
