review 1: I received this ebook for a fair review. I love werewolves! I enjoyed this story where different supernatural beings work together for the good of all. The characters were enjoyable and I like that the weres have one mate. I don't like it that some authors feel the need to make their weres into sluts. This book was fun to read and I look forward to more of her books. It's a fast read- great for beach or just to pass some time.
review 2: I liked how slow this book went. The pace was great. You got to see the vulnerable side of the characters as well as their strengths. Mason and Darcy are a great couple. When something tragic happens it is really empowering to see how much the two as well as the rest of pack and other supernatural beings come together to ... morefigure out what is going on. Daniel is a great comic relief through out the story and a very interesting character. I look forward to seeing how else he plays out in the story. I really liked how this story took it's time. It didn't rush the grieving but paced it out how it should be. Granted everyone grieves a different way as you can see with these characters but also in real life. It is nice to see that though the characters are obviously upset about what has happened it also gives you why they are so great for each other. How they can use each other to strength back up and continue on. Just like in real life when you lose someone and how you surround yourself with other friends and family. I also thought it appropriate how little we got of the character who died but I felt like we knew her already. That was already knew her story through the couple pages before as well as during the grieving process of the characters in the book. This also adds a more suspenseful side later on when everything becomes connected. Connecting everything was not expected but it added a twist and added what needed to the characters. To show that Darcy isn't another girl who is weak but is strong and wants to learn. This story also shows that everyone feels like they have failed and always question the what ifs in a death situation but no always is it easy to give way to it and move on. It shows that even though we need to cry sometimes it is okay to do that even if you are looked up to be strong. Everyone has emotions and needs to deal with it how they need to. I really enjoyed this story and I look forward to what happens in the other books. less
