review 1: I HATED this book! After loving the rest of the series, #7 made me angry enough to write this review. How in the world could Smith continue to make a movie, that included an upcoming sex scene with Valentina's sister, when he's thinking Valentina could be THE one??!!?? Smith has made tons of movies and has more fame and fortune than he knows what to do with. Does he re-cast his role to another actor or re-write a few scenes to elude to "Jo and Graham" having sex...NO...instead, he lets Valentina stay on a closed set to watch it all happen!!! Then, after being tortured watching her man make out with her sister all day, Valentina decides she's going to claim Smith by giving him oral sex!!! If that isn't bad enough, after Valentina swears during the entire book that sh... moree doesn't want the invasion to her privacy that would come along with dating Smith, she's suddenly okay with it, after a tabloid claims Smith is sleeping with both Valentina and her sister. REALLY??!!?? And don't tell me it's for true love. If he truly loved her, he would never have done that to her. Yes, I realize he's an actor...but he's one with a reputation of using women for nothing but sex. And he's not shooting a love scene with just any old actress...it's Valentina's SISTER! Supposedly Smith values family above all else, but he doesn't see an upcoming problem with filming a sex scene with the 21-year-old baby sister of the woman who he wants to spend the rest of his life with...having that scene preserved on film for the rest of their lives??!!?? Valentina is nothing but a doormat!!! Terrible story! So disappointing after the rest of "The Sullivans" series has been so terrific. :-(
review 2: Bella Andre says "my favourite romances have always been about families. I love following brothers and sisters and cousins from book to book" and I agree, many of my favourite easy read romances follow this theme. Bella Andre, in my opinion, has a similar style to Bernadette Marie and Melody Anne, and focuses on the Sullivan family from San Francisco. What makes series romances like this successful for me is the interaction between the brothers and sisters, the teasing and ribbing.Book 5 features film star Smith Sullivan and Valentina Landon, the sister and manager to his co-star in his new film Gravity. Valentina assumes he's just another actor who's going to take advantage of her little sister and warns him off, Smith persuades her that he's different and that he likes her not her sister. Life in the public eye is difficult for Valentina and threatens their future together.Smith has intrigued me since we met him in previous books, not the fact that he's a film star but that's he's reserved, doesn't share much even with family. Throughout the book, as a lot is set around the filming of the movie, there are scenes of the film written up. I loved the film scenes, they are worthy of their own book. When Smith and Valentina's sex scene is filmed I couldn't help but feel for her, I can't imagine how awkward watching your boyfriend and sister would be.An improvement on the previous few books in this series. less

Oh my, what can I say about this book, well apart from the fact that it is absolutely amazing. I love of Bella can take people that are either ordinary or with out of the world jobs and take them back to the basic level that makes us all love them and be able to relate to them. This story reminds me of the movie American Sweethearts, of how the star falls in love with the sister that is taking care of the Star sister. I love the way that blend and Valentina takes care of her sister and reminds us that everyone needs to remain with a level head. It was really amazing because we got two learn about two stories inside of one large one. We have the love story of Smith and Valentina but also the story of Jo and Graham. We also get to find out more about the siblings that we have already read about including Marcus, Sophie, Ryan, Gabe, Chase, and Zach. We get to have a look into their lives and how they all beautifully mold into one family. We also learn more about Rafe and Mia who we were introduced in the last story. We also find out how close Sophie and Smith really are and what they mean to each other. All in all it was a really good book.
