review 1: Little Bear leaves his den, and hibernating papa, to a chase a bee. Where there's a bee, there's honey! When Papa Bear notices Little Bear is missing, he takes off on a search for him, and antics ensue.A visually expressive book of sweet and silly. The illustrations are not lacking; quality or quantity. Each page is filled with wonderful imagery, and there's so much going on that each time you read the story, it's like a new adventure.
review 2: A sweet story of a Papa Bear trying to find his Baby Bear. But the story goes beyond this. Where's Waldo style illustrations in the first half have children hunting to find Baby Bear just like Papa is. The manner in which Papa and Baby are reunited is genius. A great book for dads to read to their kids! Palette is nicel... morey limited, format is large/tall, and the book is refreshing all the way around. less
