review 1: This is a great book. Reminds me of Daniel Woodrell a little. The characters are great. My favorite thing about the book is that you can't tell if most of the characters are bad people who are occasionally doing good shit or if they are good people who do a lot of bad shit. Probably the earlier of the two. They are definitely wounded in more ways than one. I will definitely read Whitmer's future releases. Rock solid novel right here...
