But now that her little sister Addie has moved in, Zoe is angry because she can't play at night. Addie wakes up no matter how careful and quiet Zoe tries to be. review 2: Zoe is queen of all she surveys in her bedroom, and she spends her nights building her kingdom. All that changes, though, when her parents decide that she must share her domain with her little sister Addie. Things don't go well for the two roommates since Zoe has to be quiet and not disturb... more her sister. But then one night during a storm, Zoe realizes that her sister might make an excellent companion, after all. Although there isn't much that is surprising in the story, it is a sweet tribute to siblings, sisterly love, and a uniquely free spirit. The pen-and-ink and watercolor illustrations allow the personalities and feelings of Zoe and her family members to be visible. less
