This textbook-based-blog-thing has been an adventure. I loved starting a blog because you can actually make a difference, at least a little bit. Helping people has always been a life goal of mine. So making a post (like 2 weeks ago?) that people reacted to positively made me happy, because it made others happy.
Writing about this textbook has not been my favorite thing. The book has a lot of good information. But blogging about it…well, it has made me learn more about blogging. It has not so much helped me learn the material. I focused on writing and making my blog engaging instead of learning the material. But maybe I secretly absorbed all the information! Who knows.
I don’t have very many other thoughts about this. I can now blog semi-successfully, so I like that. Blogging did not help me feel like I learned the material from the book. But maybe that’s just my learning style. Professional digital media production is probably not my thing, though maybe my future career will surprise me.
