review 1: A nice easy to read book, but certainly not a challenging read.Quite poorly written in the sense that the authors often use 4-5 words when they could have used one. (the 'concrete grey billowing and solemnly daunting clouds overhead' instead of 'the clouds', for example. NB - sentence not actually in the book, but you get the idea)But otherwise a sweet, and sensitive string of stories likely to resonate with most people.
review 2: This is a wonderful little book with a big story! Kate McConnell prays "Let my life count." And count it does!! This novel is a really a group of little stories of how the paper with Kate's handwritten 23rd Psalm, originally copied for her son, gets passed around quite by accident to many different people in many different places, a... morend the impact it makes in each of their lives, bringing each recipient back to The Shepherd. I love the way Betsy and Laurie (sisters) tie the little stories together with the main story of Kate, her husband John and son Matt, and Kate's ultimate desire to bring her own family closer to the Lord. What an incredibly sweet story, and for certain a book club choice for our Christian Women's Book Club! less
