review 1: Chaotic is a first word that comes to mind trying to describe the book. Ridiculous is the second one.Instead of thriller we get a predictable and cliche book where the thrilling part is close to none. Unlike other Barton's books which I read gasping, this one is dreadful. Even the romance part is shallow and simply boring.Also, a side story about Powell family could have added something to the series, but nothing to the book itself.A big disappointment.
review 2: Ternyata pembunuhnya adalah yg tidak disangka-sangka. Gw salah sangka.Tapi agak boring juga wkt awal bacanya dan terlihat bahwa buku ini menceritakan tipe konservatif, kolot dan terlalu religius. Kebanyakan ayat-ayat suci. I don't like it. Tapi msh ada pertanyaan menggantung di benak gw:knp si pembunuh... more membunuh Mark Cantrell yang notabene adalah pendeta baik dan tidak munafik? Apakah Mark adalah ujicoba (trial) pertama si pembunuh? Dan knp si pembunuh bisa keluar negeri pdhl jelas2 dia masih bersekolah? Sepertinya Tante Beverly Barton ini kelupaan untuk menjelaskan hal ini. Ada celah-celah yg tidak dijelaskan dgn baik di ending cerita. less
