Tales Of The Were
review 1: A PNR with a cat shifter (two actually) that I liked. A little long, though, as all of Bianca D'Arc novels are - a lot of inner musings, but good enough to accept. I would have liked the heroine to be a little more aggressive, but it looks like the females in the cat clans are nurturers, not warriors. There was a multiple partner scene that was explained by a "frenzy" which I didn't enjoy, especially since the main couple was already mated, but I guess it's the price to pay for reading about cats (they are known for being randy). All in all, I liked it a lot more than the first in the Lords of the Were series and I want to read Slade's story next.
review 2: After reading 'Slade' this was sort of a downer. Not as much action, a H who just wanted to lay the human c
... morehick (until she turns into a shifter, too), and he leaves his traumatized little sister alone all the time. Time sequences didn't add up sometimes. I liked Lindsey the h, but Griffon Redstone needed some work! Maybe this was because I finished 'Slade' and started this immediately, but it wasn't nearly as good.. gave it 3 stars anyway, because I read all of Bianca's books no matter what. less
