review 1: This was very interesting. Most of the silly stuff has been burned away and we’re at the meat of the real story. Yes, there’s still comedy to it, being a romantic comedy but this is a bit more realistic now. Hikaru challenges Tamaki to admit to Haruhi how he feels because Hikaru is also going to tell her that he cares about her (though honestly why he’d want to prod Tamaki into action isn’t clear).Still, it’s easy to see why Tamaki is so messed up. Even now at the New Year’s festival he’s all alone in Mansion#2, outcast by his grandmother. He does get to spend some of it with the host club and a dark reality rears its head. These are kids of very wealthy people and are targets of those who would hurt them to hurt their parents. In later episodes, Tamaki rescu... morees a new student who might just shake up the love triangle.
review 2: [Ch. 62-66:]Man, I'm behind on reviewing this manga.. >_>I'm happy that Hikaru confessed to Haruhi and that she turned him down in a kind manner, and also that Hikaru confronted Tamaki about his feelings. Maybe this will make Tamaki realise that he actually does like Haruhi, instead of thinking she's his 'daughter'.Eeee, Hunny is so awesome~! ^_^Aw, so in this volume you find out why Tamaki calls his friends his family members. It's really sad, but sweet. One thing I didn't get was how Kanoya looked like Haruhi? Je ne sais pas. Je ne le vois pas. less

Still a bunch of loopy fun, but with character's emotional development increasing.
