review 1: At 3 stars i think i am being generous. Really. I do.This book was a pain to read. Really. It was.Dont get me wrong. I finished it so it was not a complete loss but,... Eh, who am i kidding. Reading this was like watching a train wrack. Morbidly fascinating. I wondered what other kind of bull the author is going to come up with next. But than... The name should have clued me in so i have only maself to blame.Ah well. It WAS morbidly fascinating. Kind of, just bad enough to make you want to continue reading if you know what i mean.
review 2: Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am a Witch Fairy addict! I borrowed this book for free and I definitely did not expect to become such a huge fan. With characters that you cannot help but fall in love with, a storyline that ... moremade putting the book down impossible and writing that constantly had you laughing out loud, this book is amazing. Xandra is sarcastic, stubborn, has a take charge attitude and a heart so huge that she would do anything for the ones she loves. Kallen is extremely pragmatic but intoxicating at the same time. Throw these two together in a fate that neither of them planned and you have a relationship that you cannot help wanting to know where it goes. I honestly became lost in their world and was unable to stop thinking about them long after I finished reading all of the rest of the books in the series, including the Kallen tales. Definitely try True of Blood, you will not regret it! less
