review 1: I like the premise of this book, though I thought it was a little too simplistic in plot. The various characters are likable - and there end up being quite a few characters - though I could have used more about them. I suppose this is a YA book, so all of the above makes sense, I just think there could have been more everything, including length. Either way, a simple story told well captures its audience. I liked this a lot and want to see more!
