review 1: Really liked this book. Loved Stern and JoJo. I wish JoJo had not been a virgin, which is a pet peeve of mine about Mrs. Jackson's books, at 30. Everything else about this book was good and it seems to be a fresh new reboot to a long series. I like when Stern tried to get all high handed and JoJo shut him down and reminded him that she could take care of herself and in the end she took care of herself very well. A lot of authors cannot keep a series fresh after so many books so I will continue with the Westmoreland series.
review 2: Stern Westmoreland This book is a classic lovers to friends story with both characters struggling with the realization of their feelings for each other. JoJo and Stern have been just friends for years but all of that changes when J
... moreoJo decides to be seen as more of a woman and decides to get a makeover. To me, Jo Jo was very naive, almost too naive. Sometimes I found myself not believing how she could not see some of the signs Stern was showing her. This book got really good towards the end. As always, I love when Ms. Jackson teases us with upcoming Westmoreland books. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading about the next Westmorelands. less
