review 1: Brenda Jackson has done It again, another story about a Westmoreland man. All of the Westmoreland men are real men, they are what we as women should be looking for In our men. This Is Adrian Westmoreland P.H.D. and Dr. Trinity Matthews love story, at first It was just a pretend romance but as time went on they started having feelings for each other. Trinity Is doing her Internship at Denver Memorial Hospital, her supervising physician was sexual harassing Trinity, because she wouldn't have an affiar with him.Dr. Belvedere was misstreating Trinity by making her work on her off days thinking this would make her give In and go on a date with him. This is where Adrian comes In He is asked to pretend to be Trinity boyfriend to try to make Dr. Belvedere loss interest in Trinity.... more The longer Adrian and Trinity saw each other the closer they got, soon they couldn't hid how they felt about each other. Then Mrs Jackson drop a bomb on us Bane shows up in this story, this Is the first story that Bane show up In. I think that we all was very happy when Bane turn up In between missions, because we knew that Adrian would have help giving Dr. Belvedere a beat down. Adrian was trying to hold off whooping Dr. Belvedere, because his cousin Dillon wanted to do It the legal way so that Adrian wouldn't get Into trouble with law. Trinity was reporting these Incindents to The hospital administrator, but he wouldn't do anything about It. Trinity fineiy got a lawyer and things really started getting hot then, Dr. Belvedere started have accidents, tape recorders showed up and up pop the State hospital Commissioner that Is over all the hospitals In the state and no more new hospital wings. This book Is a keeper, happy reading
review 2: The Real Thing by Brenda Jackson was a great read that was packed with emotional moments. It raises an eyebrow, makes you want to punch someone, saddens you and elates you....all in the same breath. The tale of the journey of Trinity Matthews and Adrian Westmoreland is definitely all the aforementioned and more. As we witness the blossoming of their love, we also witness abuse of power and affluence. Once again, I say, well done Mrs. Jackson. less
