review 1: 3 1/2 stars--I enjoyed this. Some people are a little put off by the fact that these three fifteen year old boys lie to their parents for an entire summer, but I don't feel like that's the message being promoted in this book. After all, their lies and schemes end up making life much more difficult than if they would have just obeyed their parents and got a job. The friends have a lot of crazy adventures that require the reader to suspend disbelief, but I believe that's called fiction. :)

This was the book our Middle School Book Club read. Funny, cute, suspenseful.
